kentucky-horsewear-under-rug-skin-friendly-300g
Kentucky Horsewear Under Rug Skin Friendly (300g)

The Under Rug Skin Friendly is a 300g layering rug made for horses with sensitive skin and for clipped horses. Worn under a stable or turnout rug, it lets you adjust warmth to the horse and the weather without changing the top rug.

The outer is a polyester microfibre, sanded for a cotton-like touch that grips the rug above it and keeps both in place. The lining is Kentucky's artificial rabbit-skin: comfortable against sensitive skin, an extra insulating layer that holds body warmth, and a polish for the coat. The 300g fibre fill gives the warmth of down without absorbing smell.

It is cut a little shorter than a top rug so it does not take on moisture, and the artificial rabbit-skin lets it slide back into place after rolling. It fastens with a front closure on hook and loop, and two D-rings at the back take a tail cord.

300g fibre fill that does not absorb smell

Artificial rabbit-skin lining against rubs

Cotton-touch polyester microfibre outer

Front closure with hook and loop

Two D-rings for a tail cord

Machine washable at 30 degrees, no tumble dryer.
