The Smart New Standard in Everyday Horse Transport

The THEAULT XTEO is the newest addition to the THEAULT range, designed for riders who want premium build quality in a more streamlined, practical format. In Ireland, it is available on the Peugeot Boxer chassis, with a choice of manual or automatic transmission, and a clear focus on safe, comfortable transport.

While the AERO Master and AERO Sprinter are built around an advanced platform and premium driving features, the XTEO is designed around simplicity and adaptability, delivering a clean, modern layout that is easy to live with and highly configurable for your travel routine. It is a purposeful choice for riders who value comfort, safety, and usability in a refined, versatile format.

Despite its leaner footprint, the XTEO remains fully configurable. You can tailor cabin finishes, exterior styling, and horse-area features to create a vehicle that matches your horses and your day-to-day needs, with practical capability for real-world use.

Configured for Real-World Travel

The THEAULT XTEO is built to be straightforward, capable, and highly adaptable, and in Ireland it is offered on the Peugeot Boxer platform with manual or automatic transmission options. It is a smart fit for riders who want a refined, easy-to-run setup without losing the premium build quality THEAULT is known for.

As standard, the XTEO combines a functional 3-seat cabin, an insulated aluminium body, and a horse area designed for calm, controlled travel, with anti-slip rubber throughout, ventilation skylights plus an electric extractor, protective padding, and camera monitoring to the cab screen.

Customisation is where the XTEO becomes truly personal. Choose your finishes and styling, then add the upgrades that match your routine, such as sulky supports, trailer coupling, rear air suspension, extra ventilation, tack-room fittings, temperature monitoring, padding packs, and partition upgrades.

What our customers say about their Theault Horse Boxes

The Theault has honestly made a massive difference to how we manage and move the horses. Whether it’s shows, the vet, or just between farms, it’s made life so much easier.

What I love is that you can drive it on a car licence, so anyone on the team can take it out — we’re not stuck waiting on someone with a truck licence. It looks the part, feels solid, and holds its value, which is a big one.

Having the lads just up the road means servicing is dead handy too. I honestly can’t believe we waited until 2021 to get one. It’s been one of the best things we’ve done for the yard. And the horses are always safe and settled in it — you couldn’t ask for more, really.

Ballypatrick - GBBS International

The main thing for me is that it just looks super smart — and I can drive it on a car licence, which is brilliant. I went for the five-seater, so it’s really family-friendly. Heading off to shows feels like a proper family experience now. The horses travel so safely in it, especially with the stallion partitions — it's sturdy and strong, and I always feel like there’s enough power in the truck to carry the box behind too. If I need to bring four horses, it’s never a problem. It’s just so easy, convenient and reliable. And with Reece and the team just down the road, and such a great team behind the Theault, it really was a no-brainer for me.

Equine Evolve

We have been buying Theault Horseboxes since 2006. They are exceptionally well built and designed with horses in mind. Horses travel really well in them — they’re bright, airy, and have excellent ventilation.

We love the stallion stalls, as they give horses that extra bit of space and prevent them from feeling claustrophobic. Mares and foals have two large double stalls, providing plenty of room for the foal to lie down comfortably on a long journey.

Whether you're heading to the races or going to a show, there’s loads of space for tack and equipment. They are so much safer than a jeep and trailer, as you can monitor exactly how your horse is travelling at all time
