The Comfort Feeder's stainless steel inserts are dishwasher-safe. The stone Marble and Granite bowls can be washed by hand and are heavier than most dishwasher tracks are designed for - hand-washing is recommended.

As a guide, smaller dogs do well with a shallower diameter; larger breeds benefit from a wider, deeper bowl. If in doubt, size up for water - dogs always benefit from access to plenty of water, particularly active dogs.

Yes - the Marble and Granite bowls cope well outside and the natural stone helps keep water cool in summer. Bring bowls in during freezes and avoid harsh cleaners to protect the natural finish. The Comfort Feeder is also outdoor-suitable but lighter.
