Why some prices are fixed and some are a range. An Post charges us a flat rate to Ireland and Northern Ireland, so those prices never move. International orders go by DHL Express, which prices each parcel on weight and destination. The ranges are drawn from twelve months of real DHL invoices, so they are honest, not guesswork. The carrier returns the exact figure at checkout.
What you will pay by order size
Heavier parcels cost more to send. Open your destination to see the typical cost for the kind of order you are placing. A bridle and a winter rug are not the same parcel.

Delivered Duty Paid
For the UK, US and Canada, we pay the duty before it ships
Most of our overseas orders travel Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) with DHL. That means import VAT, tariffs and customs charges are calculated and collected at checkout, then paid to customs on your behalf. The total you agree to is the total you pay. No customs invoice lands on your doorstep a week later.

Irish VAT is already in the price you see. Nothing further to pay on delivery.

We ship DDP. UK VAT and any import duty are collected at checkout and paid for you, so there is no charge on delivery.

We ship DDP. US import duty, typically 10 to 25 percent depending on the item and where it was made, is collected at checkout. State sales tax is added where it applies. Each appears as its own line, and there is nothing to pay on delivery.

We ship DDP. Canadian duty and tax are collected at checkout and paid for you, so the courier does not bill you on arrival.

Outside these markets, customs and duty are set by your own country and charged on delivery. They are not included in our price.
Duty due on deliveryWhy a US total can look much bigger than the product price. On a small order, shipping and duty are a large share of the total. A $30 grooming product shipped to the US can reach roughly $75 once express shipping and duty are added. On a higher-value order, the same charges are a small fraction of the total. It is the same honest pricing either way, shown in full before you pay.

Bulky and yard equipment
Larger items, such as most La Gee yard equipment and the bigger stable fittings, are collection-only from Thurles. Couriers surcharge heavily for size and weight, so collection keeps the cost sensible. Smaller items in the same range can often still ship at a fair rate. Ask us if you are unsure.
Horseboxes
Theault horseboxes are arranged separately, not shipped. Get in touch to arrange a viewing or delivery.
Dispatch & delivery times
In-stock orders placed before midday Irish time usually ship the same day, Monday to Friday. The delivery windows in the table above start from the day your order ships, not the day you order.
Fittings, made-to-order items and custom leatherwork run on their own timelines, which we confirm with you directly. Those are not standard stock dispatch.
Tracking
Every order ships fully tracked. The moment it leaves us, you get an email with the carrier and a tracking number, so you can follow it to the door.
Something not right?
If a parcel arrives damaged or an item is missing, tell us within 48 hours at info@equijumpltd.com with your order number and a photo, and we will put it right. Full detail is in our returns policy.
Common questions
Will I be charged customs when my order arrives?
For the UK, US and Canada, no. We ship Delivered Duty Paid, so import VAT and duty are collected at checkout and paid for you. Outside those markets, your own country charges customs and duty on delivery, which is normal for international parcels.
Why is my US checkout total higher than the product price?
Three things are added: express shipping, US import duty, and state sales tax where it applies. Each is shown as its own line before you pay. On smaller orders these add up to a big share of the total. On a higher-value order they are a small fraction. There is nothing further to pay on delivery.
Can I get faster delivery in Ireland or Northern Ireland?
Yes. The fixed An Post rate covers standard delivery, and DHL Express is available on both routes when you need it sooner. Choose it at checkout or contact us for a quote. Or collect free from our Thurles store once we email to say it is ready.
How do I track my order?
You will get an email with the carrier and a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched. If you have not seen it within a working day of ordering an in-stock item, check your spam folder or email us.
Can I collect from your store?
Yes, and it is free. Choose pickup at checkout and we will email you when your order is ready to collect, which is not always the same day. Collect from Park Avenue, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Bulky yard equipment is collection-only.
