We stock rider-tested essentials: Simple Snaffle, Eggbutt Snaffle, D Ring, plus Harmony Pelham and Harmony Baby Pelham when a bit of leverage helps balance a forward horse.
Harmony construction & feel
Harmony mouthpieces pair a steel-cable core with a shaped polymer layer and a smooth, non-toxic silicone outer for comfort. Firmness varies by model so you can tune softness and stability to your horse.
Cheek options: stability vs. leverage
Choose Eggbutt or D Ring for a steadier feel at the lips; pick a Pelham or Baby Pelham for measured curb action when you need clearer balance—always using the mildest setup that keeps responses consistent.
Fit & sizing
Measure the width between the inside edges of the rings/cheeks with slight clearance at the lips. Fit snugly so the bit sits quietly; oversizing can increase flex and the likelihood of tooth marks on softer mouthpieces.
Care & replacement
Rinse after every ride, clean gently with mild soap, and avoid heat or abrasives. Inspect frequently; if the surface is chewed or worn, replace the bit to preserve comfort and safety.
