Theault's car-licence horsetruck on the 170hp Renault Master, with the new Aerovan body and the patented Switch partition as standard.

Launched in 2025, the AERO Master is Theault's car-licence horsetruck built on the Renault Master XDD L3 with the 170hp engine and a manual gearbox as standard. It shares the AERO platform with the AERO Sprinter; the two are parallel chassis choices, Renault and Mercedes, not a hierarchy.

The Aerovan body is what sets the new AERO apart from earlier Theault 3.5T trucks. The sloping windshield, redesigned mirrors, and reworked aerodynamics cut fuel use and CO2 emissions, while keeping the 30mm insulated aluminium sandwich walls, 1.20m rear door, and rubber-lined interior the brand is known for.

At the heart of the horse area is Theault's patented Switch system, a modular partition layout that reconfigures between sport, race, and leisure setups without taking the truck off the road. The cabin is built around a 10 inch OpenR Link multimedia system with integrated Google services, ergonomic seating, and the full Renault driver-assistance stack: active emergency braking, lane keep assist, rear parking aid, and driver vigilance alert.

01 · Talk

Talk to Reece.

Phone or visit Thurles. We map your licence, horse numbers, and intended use to the right model and chassis. No pressure to commit.

02 · Specify

Configure to your spec.

Cabin finish, exterior styling, partition layout, tack-room fittings, the options that earn their place. Most clients visit the Thurles shop before signing off.

03 · Build

Built in Ponts, Normandy.

Theault's workshop builds the body around your chosen chassis. Aluminium sandwich walls, profiled luton, insulated ramp. Assembled by hand, signed off by their design office.

04 · Deliver

Delivered to your yard.

Irish-plated, VRT cleared, handed over with a full walk-around in Thurles. Aftercare and parts run through Equijump thereafter.

Chassis note

The Renault Master XDD L3 was named International Van of the Year 2025. The 170hp engine pairs with a manual gearbox as standard, with the payload margin to carry the full AERO body and horse area at 3.5T GVW. The AERO Sprinter is the parallel Mercedes-based option in the same range.
