About the ELEGANCE · Theault since 1924
The truck-licence Theault built around the apartment.
Scania, Volvo, Renault, or Mercedes underneath, with a double pop-out body that opens to fifty square metres of fully-fitted living space.
The Elegance sits at the top of Theault's truck-licence range, above the Endurance. It is specified by owners who want the truck platform with the highest level of considered finish, comfort, and standard equipment. The chassis is Scania, Volvo, Renault, or Mercedes, built up using Theault's century of horsetruck engineering. Other chassis are available on request.
What separates the Elegance is the double pop-out body, which opens to up to 50m2 of fully-fitted living space. Sleeping is for six across two double beds: a motorised 190 x 160 bed in the cabin and a 220 x 140 over the dining area, with full bedding included. The fitted kitchen carries big-brand integrated appliances, induction hob, built-in fridge, and microwave. The shower room is a walk-in shower with electric toilet, heated towel rail, and wash basin. A 40-inch flat screen, soundbar, and panoramic windows with bespoke Venetian blinds finish the lounge.
The horse area runs to the same brief: soundproofed and thermally insulated, with intelligent rear and side ramp systems, dual surveillance cameras front and rear, LED lighting on three-point control, and up to five electric extractors controllable from both the cabin and the apartment. Two layout options are offered, the functional LOFT and the more spacious LOUNGE, both designed to be configured around how you actually travel.

How a Theault build works
From first call to keys in your hand.
Configure to your spec.
Cabin finish, exterior styling, partition layout, tack-room fittings, the options that earn their place. Most clients visit the Thurles shop before signing off.
Built in Ponts, Normandy.
Theault's workshop builds the body around your chosen chassis. Aluminium sandwich walls, profiled luton, insulated ramp. Assembled by hand, signed off by their design office.
Delivered to your yard.
Irish-plated, VRT cleared, handed over with a full walk-around in Thurles. Aftercare and parts run through Equijump thereafter.

Chassis note
Choice of Scania, Volvo, Renault, or Mercedes truck chassis; other chassis on request. All sit at GVW 12T and up and require a truck licence. Chassis selection affects driveline, cab ergonomics, and dealer service network. We will walk you through the trade-offs against your routine before specification.
