What bridle brands do you stock?
We carry bridles from CWD, Butet, Dyon and Trust Equestrian. Between them you'll find anatomic, raised, flash, figure-8 and hackamore options in premium European leather.
How do I choose the right noseband for my horse?
It depends on your discipline and your horse's way of going. A flash noseband suits most general riding, a figure-8 (grackle) helps horses that cross their jaw over fences, and a plain cavesson works well for flatwork. If your horse is sensitive around the poll, look for an anatomic headpiece that relieves pressure in that area.
What size bridle does my horse need?
Most bridles come in cob and full, with some models offering pony and oversize. Cob generally fits 14.2-15.2hh horses, and full fits 15.2hh and above. If your horse falls between sizes or has an unusual head shape, contact us and we can advise on the best fit for each brand.
How should I care for a leather bridle?
Wipe down with a damp cloth after each ride and clean with mild saddle soap once a week. Condition sparingly with a quality leather balm - avoid heavy oiling, which can soften the leather too much. Store unbuckled on a bridle rack in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight.
Can I order replacement parts for my bridle?
Yes. CWD, Butet and Dyon all offer individual components - browbands, nosebands, reins and headpieces - so you can replace a worn part without buying a full bridle. Contact us with your bridle model and we'll source the right piece.
