What second-hand horseboxes do you sell?

The bulk of our used vehicles collection is pre-owned Theault - mostly recent ProTeo 3, ProTeo 5L Switch, Xteo, Lighteo, First Teo and Aero Sprinter Switch models that have come back through us as customers trade up. We also list the occasional non-Theault box (Krismar, Overlander, Scania, Volvo, DAF) when one comes through on part-exchange. Stock changes regularly - check the page for what's available now.
Why buy a used Theault from Equijump rather than privately?

Equijump Ltd. has been the official Irish distributor for Theault since 2011, so the used Theaults we list are vehicles we sold new and know the service history on. Each one is checked over before listing, and warranty and aftercare carry on through us locally - so you're not chasing France or trying to verify a private seller's claims.
What size and licence does a used horsebox need?

A standard Category B Irish driving licence covers vehicles up to a total loaded weight of 3,500kg, which fits most 2-horse Theault boxes. To drive a 5-tonne or 7.5-tonne horsebox you need a Category C1 licence; anything heavier needs a full Category C (HGV) licence. We confirm the loaded weight and licence requirement for any specific used vehicle before you order.
Can I finance a used horsebox?

Yes - finance is available on used vehicles through our standard finance partner, subject to vehicle age, value and the usual credit checks. Hire purchase agreements are typical, with terms running from 12 to 60 months. We'll help you weigh up finance against outright purchase based on the model and the residual value at the end of term.
Do used vehicles come with a warranty?

Used Theault boxes carry the balance of any remaining manufacturer bodywork warranty and chassis warranty depending on age. For non-Theault used stock, warranty terms are confirmed on a per-vehicle basis - some come with dealer warranty cover, others are sold as inspected. We'll be specific about what's covered before you commit.
How do I sell or part-exchange my existing horsebox?

We take part-exchange against new and used vehicle sales, and we occasionally take horseboxes for outright resale where the model and condition fit our customer base. Send us photos, the chassis make and model, year, mileage and service history, and we'll come back with a part-exchange or buy-in offer.
