About the ENDURANCE · Theault since 1924
The truck-licence Theault for professional fleets.
Built on Scania, Volvo, or Renault running gear at 12 tonnes and up, configurable from six to twelve horses across five layout options.
The Endurance is built for the operators who move horses for a living: professional yards, equestrian centres, and commercial transport businesses running long routes with full loads. Five layout options cover 6-horse semi-trailer, 6 to 9 horse forward-facing, 7 horse herringbone, 9 to 10 horse herringbone, and 12 horse herringbone with rear-facing stalls.
The common platform is a Scania, Volvo, or Renault truck chassis at 12 tonnes GVW and up, driveable on a truck licence. All three are offered because operators have existing fleet preferences and service relationships. The body sits on serious commercial running gear with the payload and range to match the workload.
Every Endurance is built to order around your operation. The horse area, groom space, and cabin are configured around your discipline, your horses, and your routine. Side and rear ramps, intelligently placed openings, and integrated protective doors make loading and unloading manageable at scale, day after day.

How a Theault build works
From first call to keys in your hand.
Configure to your spec.
Cabin finish, exterior styling, partition layout, tack-room fittings, the options that earn their place. Most clients visit the Thurles shop before signing off.
Built in Ponts, Normandy.
Theault's workshop builds the body around your chosen chassis. Aluminium sandwich walls, profiled luton, insulated ramp. Assembled by hand, signed off by their design office.
Delivered to your yard.
Irish-plated, VRT cleared, handed over with a full walk-around in Thurles. Aftercare and parts run through Equijump thereafter.

Chassis note
Scania, Volvo, and Renault are all offered so operators can stay on the chassis brand and dealer network they already run. All three deliver the payload and long-haul reliability the Endurance is built for at 12 tonnes GVW and up. Final chassis choice is set during configuration alongside layout, cabin spec, and horse-area fit-out.
